The Transitional Council's General Secretariat Stands Before Latest Preparations of the 60th Anniversary of the Glorious October 14 Revolution

On Thursday, the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium held its regular meeting at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.

 

The Secretariat stood before the latest preparations to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, reviewing the vision presented by the preparatory committee for the event and its work program, offering congratulations and blessings to President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi and the southern people and their armed forces on this occasion.

 

In this regard, the General Secretariat called on the people of the South to attend and actively participate in the event that will be held next Saturday in the capital, Aden, and in all the events that will be organized by local leaders in the governorates in commemoration of this great anniversary.

 

The meeting reviewed the economic landscape report submitted by the Economic and Services Department, which included the latest developments in the economic situation witnessed by the southern governorates during the month of September.

 

The meeting discussed the political scene report submitted by the Political Department, which addressed the most prominent topics and issues on the southern scene during the past two weeks, including the military escalation on the border by the Houthis, where the meeting stressed raising combat readiness to confront any infiltration.

 

The meeting also addressed the latest developments taking place in the south and the region in general, including the situation taking place in Gaza in occupied Palestine, and the genocide to which civilians are being subjected. The General Secretariat of the Transitional Council's Presidium reiterated that the people of the south and its political leadership stand by the Palestinian people and their rights in establishing its independent state.

 

The meeting reviewed the activity report of the General Secretariat departments during the past week, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
