The National Transitional Assembly Calls for Government Dismissal

 The Administrative Board of the National Assembly held its periodic meeting, on Thursday, under the chairmanship of Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, and in the presence of his two deputies, Ms. Niran Suqi, member of the Presidency and Dr. Anis Luqman.

At the meeting, the administrative body faced a number of issues, the most important of which was the developments in the situation at various levels, mainly in the face of the deterioration of the service and living conditions of the people, which was caused by a certain government, by not carrying out its tasks.

The administrative body denounced the state of alienation of the leaders in the Presidential Leadership Council and the government and its disregard for the suffering of the people. It also denounced the economic and service tampering, the rampant corruption in state institutions, and the absence of inspection.

In its periodic meeting, the Administrative Board called for the trial of those who acted in importing adulterated diesel for Aden electricity, which caused great damage to electricity generators, environmental health, and the poor implementation of projects, including the rehabilitation of Aden International Airport and its poor implementation, which was revealed by the winds and rains that the capital, Aden, recently witnessed.

It also called for the necessity of dismissing this government and forming a government that carries out its tasks in improving and developing conditions in a way that meets the needs of citizens.

The administrative body praised the political developments that resulted from the visits, diplomatic moves, and invitations that were extended to the political leadership in the Southern Transitional Council from some friendly countries in the previous period and during the coming period.

The meeting stressed the need to continue the southern dialogue with the rest of the political components and organizations, because of the tangible positive change it brought about in the southern arena and abroad, and reflected the desire of the people of the south and its components to restore the southern state, with full sovereignty without prejudice to the southern national project.

The meeting also praised the cohesion and solidity of the people of the south, in general, and their rallying around the Southern Transitional Council, the true bearer of the project to restore the state.

The meeting stressed the need to reformulate the southern media discourse, so that it is characterized by balance and an analytical nature, in line with developments on the scene.

The administrative body stood before the situation in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadhramout, and stressed the importance of improving the work of the council bodies and members of the National Assembly in the southern governorates and preparing to accommodate the next steps on the road to restoring the state and improving living and service conditions.
