On Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium held its periodic meeting at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidium, Deputy Secretary-General.

The meeting reviewed the achievement reports of of the Organizational, and Youth and Sports Departments during the second quarter of this year, which included the activities carried out during the aforementioned period, as well as the relationship of the two departments with their corresponding departments in the executive bodies in the governorates.

The meeting discussed the report of the activities of the General Secretariat departments during the past week, and the most prominent activities that were implemented, and the previous minutes of the Secretariat were reviewed and approved, taking into account the observations.

During its meeting, the secretariat faced a number of political and economic issues witnessed by the southern governorates, especially the damage caused by the thunderstorm that struck the capital, to public and private property, last Monday, and the conferees presented a number of proposals and recommendations iضn this regard.
