President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on Monday, Abdulaziz Mahdi bin Laksar, Head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Transitional Council in Shabwa Governorate.

The President, Commander from Bin Laksar, listened to a detailed explanation of the organizational workflow of the local leaders of the Transitional Council in Shabwa Governorate and its districts, and the work accomplished by the executive body in the governorate and the bodies in the districts during the first half of the current year 2023, in addition to its work plan for the second half of the year.

The President was also briefed by Bin Laksar on the general conditions in Shabwa Governorate and the coordination mechanisms between the local leaders of the Transitional Council and the local authorities to serve the citizens and improve their conditions.

He also stressed that the Shabwa governorate is of special importance to the leadership of the Council, paralleling its strategic importance as a flank of the south, and its great historical and struggle heritage, stressing the need to intensify efforts during the coming period by everyone, in a way that guarantees the achievement of the plans and goals set and benefits the public interest.

At the end of the meeting, the transitional executive president of Shabwa thanked President Al-Zubaidi for the great interest he gives in Shabwa governorate, praising his continuous support for the executive bodies in the governorate and districts, and his constant keenness to overcome any difficulties that impede the progress of their work.
