The auxiliary Economic and Service Authority of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium held an extraordinary meeting, on Tuesday, chaired by Dr. Muhammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Supreme Economic Committee.

 The meeting dealt with economic and service developments, rising prices, the deterioration of electricity service, and the import of adulterated fuel resulting from government corruption, which caused breakdowns and almost destroyed the remaining electric power generators, and the accompanying emission of heavy gases that affected people's lives.

The meeting also discussed the draft internal regulations of the economic and service authority submitted by the commission in charge, and taking into account the observations and amendments submitted to it to suit the tasks and activities of the advisory and executive body.
