Today, the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium held its periodic meeting, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Abdullah Saleh, Head of the Financial and Administrative Department, the acting Secretary-General.

The meeting discussed the political scene report submitted by the Political Department, which dealt with the most prominent political topics and issues on the southern national scene during the past two weeks, as well as the report on the performance of Women and Children Department for the second quarter of 2023 and the relationship of the department with its corresponding departments in the southern governorates.

 In its meeting, it also discussed the latest preparations for the event of commemorating the centenary of the late Major General Saleh Ahmed Al-Sayed. In this regard, the General Secretariat of the Transitional Council's Presidium called on the people of the south to attend and participate in the event that will be held in the capital, Aden, next Monday.

 During its meeting, the Secretariat stood before a number of political and economic issues taking place in the southern governorates, and the conferees presented a number of proposals, solutions and recommendations in this regard.

The Secretariat had reviewed the weekly achievement report of its departments, as well as the minutes of its previous meeting and approved it.
