The National Authority for Southern Media discussed the necessary media preparations for the sixth session for the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, during its meeting on Monday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, Chairman of the Authority.

The meeting dealt with various practical ways and mechanism for distributing media tasks to keep pace with and for a comprehensive coverage of the expected event that will be held in the city of Mukalla in Hadhramout Governorate, which coincides with the visit of President Aidarous bin Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.

Mr. Salem Thabet stressed the efforts of affiliates and heads of the media sectors in contributing to the success of the work of the sixth session of the Council's National Assembly, and highlighting its inauguration and outputs with the required images that are appropriate for this exceptional and distinguished event, which reflects the aspirations of the people of the south in the path of achieving their aspirations.

The meeting reviewed a number of work programs that will be followed by various southern media outlets that will accompany the sixth session in Hadhramout and submit daily work reports, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
