President Al-Zubaidi Meets Preparatory Committee of Southern General People's Congress

 President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on Saturday in his office in the capital, Aden, with the Preparatory Committee for the Southern General People's Congress, headed by Salem Al-Wali, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, and Badr, Assistant Secretary-General of the Local Council of the capital, Aden.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President welcomed the representatives of the Southern General People's Congress party, praising their positive role and active participation in the southern national dialogue, and  joining the ranks of the southern national forces that signed the National Pact.
 President Al-Zubaidi affirmed that the Southern Transitional Council is open to all southern powers that believe in restoring the southern state with full sovereignty over its internationally recognized borders until May 21, 1990, reiterating its support for efforts to continue the southern national dialogue as a safe path to building the desired federal southern state.
 For their part, representatives of the Southern General People's Congress  congratulated the President for the remarkable results achieved by the consultative meeting, which took place in the capital, Aden, last week, culminating in the signing of the Southern National Pact for the first time in the history of the South since independence.
The representatives of the Southern General People's Congress expressed their thanks and appreciation for the great efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi in order to strengthen the southern alignment, and his great keenness to involve  various southern national forces in drawing the features of the next southern state according to a true partnership that establishes a state where order, law and social justice prevail.
