President Aidarous Qassem Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, issued, on Wednesday, decree No. (1) of 2023, regarding amending the Council's statute.

  The decree included the creation of a number of central bodies and auxiliary bodies to the Presidium, and the merging of a number of National Assembly committees, departments of the General Secretariat and executive departments of the local leaderships in the governorates and districts.

  The decree also included a number of other articles regulating membership, rights, duties, and others.

This decree comes to embody the sincere direction of President Al-Zubaidi to restructure the Council, make a change in the mechanisms and means of work of the Council in its various bodies, activate the tools of planning, organizing and monitoring performance, ensuring effectiveness in the performance of the Council's leaders, and accountability for negligence.

 This decree also comes to embody the sincere will of the leadership of the Council to include everyone through dialogue that can strengthen the unity of the southern ranks and absorb its results within the framework of its bodies to perform the tasks to lead the people of the south to restore their state.
