President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, Dupety Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, delivered an important speech, on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the capital, Aden.

 Here is its text:

 In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful

 With great pride, we extend our great greetings and the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to our southern people in the capital, Aden, and all the governorates of the beloved south, on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the capital, Aden, on the twenty-seventh of the blessed month of Ramadan in the year 2015.

 Great sacrifices made by our people, led by the valiant southern resistance, to achieve this victory, which represented an important event in the history of this city of resistance, and its brave sons, confirming that Aden was and will remain a symbol of rejection and resistance, for all occupation projects and humiliation attempts, and it will always remain the eternal capital of the south.

 On this dear anniversary, we remember with honor our brothers and sons, the martyrs, who wrote with their pure blood the title of  victory, whose started from the capital, Aden, and did not stop until all the southern governorates that were under the occupation of the Houthi militia were purged.

 On this occasion, we do not forget to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to our brothers in the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, whose support played a primary and direct role in all the victories achieved.

 We pledge our proud struggling people to proceed with wisdom and steadfastness on the path of freedom and salvation, and to restore and build the desired federal state of the South, preserving all rights, and victorious for the dignity  of the southern citizen .

 Mercy and eternity for our honorable martyrs, healing for our  wounded, freedom for our heroic prisoners, and victory for the south and its people.
