Al-Jaadi Meets Director of UN Envoy's Office

Professor Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, a member of the Presidium and Deputy Secretary-General, met on Monday, in his office in the capital, Aden, with Mr. Edward Jackson, Director of the Office of the UN Envoy in Aden.
 At the outset of the meeting, Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi praised the great efforts made by the United Nations to bring together the views of all parties to find a political solution to end the war, in addition to its role in helping the southern people in light of the humanitarian crisis, the difficult living conditions and the collapse of the local currency, stressing that the Southerners faith with their just cause is what makes them bear all that.
 Al-Jaadi spoke about the Southern National Pact, which will link all the southern powers, and which will be the first building block for believers in the project to restore the state of the South to launch as required and present the issue to the world in the right way, expressing his optimism according to the course of events taking place in the south.
 Al-Jaadi indicated that the Southern National Dialogue launched by the Southern Transitional Council came to reunite all southerners, and its results will be announced in May to produce a clear southern national pact for all southern forces that believe in restoring the state of the South.
 For his part, the Director of the Office of the UN Envoy expressed his happiness with this meeting, stressing that communication continues between the Office of the UN Envoy and the active parties involved in the political process to reach a comprehensive solution to stop the war and establish peace.
