sadaalhakika
Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, member of the Transitional Council's Presidium, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat, confirmed, during the dialogue conducted with him by the media department of the General Secretariat, that the Southern Transitional Council would not be silent about the disastrous resolutions that target the people of the south and their cause by any forces whatsoever. And they be will confronted with all available means.
Professor Fadl Al-Jaadi said, "The Transitional Council is popularly mandated, and protecting the people of the south and their political or service gains is an indisputable principle against any resolutions aimed at humiliating or starving them or affecting their political future."
Professor Al-Jaadi mentioned that there are great efforts made by the political leadership of the Transitional Council, represented by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, in particular, and the Council's bodies in general, especially those related to foreign affairs, in communicating the issue of the people of the south to all international forums, indicating that the Council has succeeded in this path. Referring in this context to the visit of President Al-Zubaidi to the Russian Federation, which will reflect positively on the future of the issue of the people of the south towards the restoration of their state.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat stated that the Southern Transitional Council will support any joint efforts aimed at fighting the Houthis on various fronts without deviating from that goal, reviewing what the Council has achieved through its bodies, including what was done by the National Dialogue Team, which held more than two hundred meetings with Southern personalities and entities in various spectrums. He continued that these efforts would result in the consultative meeting that will be held soon, and from which a southern national pact will emerge, for the future of the south.
Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi touched on the latest developments in the process of restructuring the bodies of the Transitional Council, and what are the remaining steps, as he said that the year 2023 would be a year full of achievements. Reiterating that the position of the Transitional Council is that of the brothers in the Arab coalition, and the text of the dialogue came:
At the beginning, we welcome Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, member of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Council's Presidium, and the Media Department of the General Secretariat is pleased to conduct this dialogue with you. At the outset, we want to know about the importance of the visit of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, to Russia, and what successes this visit will achieve in the cause of the people of the south?
- There is no doubt that there are great efforts made by the President, Commander Aidarous Al-Zubaidi in particular, and all the council bodies, especially those related to foreign affairs, in bringing the cause of the people of the south to all international forums, and the transitional council achieved successes in this path.. Returning to your question, this visit was not the first to the Russian Federation, it was preceded by two visits, but this visit is of great importance in terms of its timing in light of the transformations the world is witnessing in drawing a new map in relations on one hand and the extent of the influence of the Federal Russia in international affairs on the other hand. Russia is considered to have a great influence in the industry International resolutions. Indeed, this visit will reflect positively on the future of the issue of the people of the south towards restoring their state.
* Al-Alimi's recent statements on the issue of the south sparked a state of controversy and discontent. How do you read them?
- Rashad Al-Alimi did not come up with anything new, but rather his steadfast position in the unconscious about the south and its cause is renewed. When we turn to history during his tenure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during Afash era, his position today is more like yesterday, even as he apologizes for his statement."
Al-Alimi and the majority of the northern forces have not changed their position on the issue of the people of the south, and we in the south do not pay attention to such statements and see them as irresponsible and indifferent to the outcome of the challenges of this sensitive moment.
*What is your assessment of the nature of the partnership with the Presidential Leadership Council, and what does this partnership reflect on the ground?
- We reaffirm that the position of the Transitional Council will only be from the position of the brothers in the Arab coalition, and in terms of participation in the consultations whose first anniversary we are living. The Transitional Council received an official invitation from the Cooperation Council for the Gulf States, and we were keen on the success of this consultation, as we were keen on implementing the Riyadh Agreement. It is important to indicate that this agreement has brought together all the parties opposing the Houthi project - Iran's arm in Yemen. As - unfortunately - there are parties that practice serving the Houthis, therefore we find obstruction on their part, and it is no evidence that the will for confrontation is in their agendas. As the Transitional Council participated in the consultations with its political project and its just cause, in which all forces, including representatives of the active countries, agreed to set a special framework for it in the negotiation that will be sponsored by the United Nations, as stipulated in the statement of the Riyadh consultations.
*How does the Transitional Council and the Southern Street deal with government resolutions that negatively affect society in various aspects?
- The Southern Transitional Council is delegated by the people of the south and protecting its political and service gains is obligatory against any disastrous resolutions deliberately by any forces aimed at humiliating or starving the south, and therefore the Transitional Council will not remain silent and will confront with all available means.
*In your opinion, what are the reasons for not implementing all the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, and the objectives behind that?
-I respond to your question with a question, who benefits from thwarting the Riyadh agreement?
- Those who are not concerned with the suffering of the people who have kidnapped the presidency and lost their crippling and delaying influence to restore Sana'a... Those who obstructed the operations to confront the Houthis are the beneficiaries...; Therefore, the Riyadh consultations came in April last year to create consensus and involve the actors on the ground to accomplish what was agreed upon.. Today, after a year of consultations and their outputs, which confirmed the Riyadh agreement, we also find parties seeking to obstruct, and this obstruction serves the Houthis, intentionally or unintentionally.

*What is the position of the Transitional Council on the new military formations, and what is their purpose?
- The Transitional Council and its southern armed forces existed to protect the gains of the southerners that were achieved with the blood of the martyrs and the wounded, and the suffering of nearly three decades, and to confront the Houthi militia, which represents the common enemy between us and the Arab coalition, to curb Iran's ambitions in the region, and therefore the southern armed forces achieved victories not only for the south, but also for the region and preserved its security In this regard, the Transitional Council will support any joint efforts aimed at fighting the Houthis on various fronts without deviating from that goal.
*There are some voices trying to show the division between the southerners, what is your response to this?
- My response may not be theoretically stronger than the facts on the ground. The Transitional Council has been keen from the first moment to announce its establishment in all its documents as an entity inclusive of all southerners without exception. From here, the Transitional Council launched a team for the Southern National Dialogue internally and externally. In addition, it achieved successes in this context, which will be crowned in the coming days with an unprecedented southern alliance through consultations that emerge from a national pact that establishes the features of the state of the south, which will only be for all and with its entire people.
Therefore, the people of the south, from Al-Mahra to Bab Al-Mandab, are united with the goal of restoring their state, and those trembling horns will not be able to disrupt this row with miserable attempts to divert them from the path of restoring their state, which was built on the foundations of reconciliation and tolerance.

* What is your assessment of the activity of the various bodies of the Transitional Council for the year 2022? What is the council's vision for the year 2023?
-The Transitional Council, through its bodies, has achieved many achievements, and the most prominent of those activities that represent a southern gain was the strengthening of the unity of the southern ranks, which was carried out by the internal and external Southern National Dialogue team, which held more than two hundred meetings with southern personalities and entities in various spectrums. This effort will culminate in the consultative meeting soon, which will result in a southern national pact that will represent a guidance for the future of the south, drawing inspiration from many successful experiences in the world.
The other thing is the success of southern diplomacy and the opening of new horizons for the cause of the people of the south, especially countries with influence in the world. Like any human experience, we do not claim perfection, there are observations here or there, but the year 2023 will be a year full of achievements, and this is what we look forward to according to the annual plan. Here, I express my thanks for all the efforts made by the council's bodies in support of the will of the people of the south to restore their state.
*There are many internal and external indicators that herald positive developments for the cause of the people of the south. What are the most prominent of these indicators?
- I believe his question of yours has been answered in previous questions. But the most prominent of these developments, in my estimation, is the positive regional and international position towards the issue of the people of the south on the external level, but on the internal level, which is the most important, the southern national dialogue that deepens and strengthens southern cohesion, and closes all outlets Lying in wait for the enemies to disrupt the social coordination, which is a great southern achievement. The transitional government, in all its forms, sought to win this value that will be immortalized by generations.
* What are the latest developments in the process of restructuring the bodies of the Transitional Council?
- The process of development and modernization is in full swing through the restructuring team, which is about to complete the second phase, which is the tasks and terms of reference, then the third phase remains, which the council's presidium will initiate. These phases carefully planned. The Transitional Council, after years of its establishment, is in dire need to evaluate its experience and move towards change, renewal and development, as stated by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.
*At the end, is there a final word you would like to add?
Greetings - on this dear and blessed occasion, of the month of Ramadan, which we live for the people of the south and their legendary steadfastness, through their patience that amazed the world and baffled the enemies because of their belief in the justice of their cause. Eternity, for the pure blood of the martyrs of the south that irrigated the pure soil of the south... Healing for the wounded and freedom for the prisoners. We renew our pledge that we are on their path, under the leadership of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, until the restoration of the independent, federal state of the South with full sovereignty.
