On Thursday, a member of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium and head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, chaired an expanded meeting with the bodies of the Transitional Council, in the capital, Aden.
The meeting, which was attended by a number of members of the Transitional Council's Presidium, a number of heads of bodies and leaders of the Council and the negotiating team, was devoted to finding out about developments in peace efforts to start a comprehensive political process, and related challenges at the local, regional and international levels.
The meeting stressed supporting the efforts of the brothers in the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and all regional and international efforts to end the war and cease-fire, and end all issues and crises, foremost of which is the issue of the people of the south.
Al-Khubaji urged the council's bodies to redouble efforts and communicate with all southern national forces and specialists and competencies, in a way that contributes to achieve the aspirations of the people of the south to restore and build their independent, fully sovereign federal state on the pre-May 1990 borders.
