President Aidarous Qassem al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, dupety Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on Wednesday with the Military Committee which is competent in the military aspect in negotiations with the Houthi militia.

President Al-Zubaidi heard from the chairman and members of the Committee a detailed explanation of the mechanisms of the committee's work in monitoring militia violations on all fronts, the mechanism of committee's communication with the Office of the UN Envoy, and details of the meetings held by the committee in the Jordanian capital Amman in late May last year, within the Military Coordination Committee, whose meetings are chaired by Military Advisor to the UN envoy to reduce escalation.

President Al-Zubaidi was also briefed on the level of readiness of the committee to carry out the military tasks entrusted to it in the next stage of negotiations aimed at reaching a permanent pact and ceasefire, in preparation for a permanent peace process. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi directed the committee to prepare a plan that keeps pace with the variables of the stage.

The meeting was attended by Imad Mohammed, Director of the Office of the dupety Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
