Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Monday with the head of the specialized criminal prosecution in the capital, Aden, Judge Anis Nasser Ali.

The meeting, which included lawyer Niran Suqi, member of the Council's Presidium, vice chairperson of the Assembly, discussed the level of performance in the Prosecution, the difficulties facing its work, and ways to enhance joint cooperation with the prosecution for everything that would achieve security and stability.

 Major General Ben Brik listened to cases in the Prosecution Office related to terrorism, drug trafficking and other issues.

 He Stressed the need to expedite the progress of procedures for cases.

 The Acting President of the Transitional Council praised the performance of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution in the capital and the southern governorates and the great efforts made by the prosecution in addressing serious cases that destabilize security and stability and threaten the country's national security, such as cases of terrorism, drug smuggling and trade, and other issues.
