The Deputy Secretary-General of the Transitional Council meets the delegation of the "CMI for Peace"

Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidium and Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Monday, in the capital, Aden, with the delegation of the “CMI Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation" Mrs. Julia Pickardt, Director of the Peace Project for the Middle East and North Africa at Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, and Mr. Marwan Ali, the Foundation's advisor, in the presence of Mr. Anis Al-Sharafi, Deputy Head of the General Department for Foreign Affairs of the Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi welcomed the delegation of the Foundation, providing a brief explanation about the issue of the people of the south and their determination to restore and build their state, stressing the importance of the presence of the issue of southern people in the file of dialogues aimed at comprehensive peace and ending the war, as it is an issue at the forefront of the political scene on the ground.
  Al-Jaadi stressed that the people of the south will not budge an inch from the path of achieving their goals in restoring their state and all their legitimate rights, pointing to the need to implement previous agreements and oblige the renegade parties to implement their provisions.
  Al-Jaadi appreciated the efforts of the United Nations in supporting peace in the region, reviewing the most prominent developments in the situation at various levels and developing appropriate solutions of the obstacles and difficulties facing the progress of work in society.
 For their part, Mrs. Julia and Mr. Marwan expressed their thanks and great appreciation for the good reception and cooperation, appreciating the efforts made by the Southern Transitional Council and its support for peace, noting that the "CMI Peace" Foundation deals with realistic visions in the course of seeking to develop solutions to various issues, and attempts  accelerate solutions with all parties on the ground.
