The Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri, directed the speedy start to work on rehabilitating and turfing the Al_Shuhada' Stadium in Taiz Governorate, honoring  Al-Ahly Club Academy, which won the title of the International Academies Championship in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the girls of the governorate who won the first three places in mental arithmetic.

 This came during his meeting in his office in the interim capital, Aden, with the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, and in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Azzam Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Projects Sector, Mohsen Bebek, Undersecretary of the Sports Sector, Khaled Mohsen Al-Khulaifi, and Head of the General Federation of Judo Noman Shaher.

 During the meeting, Minister Al-Bakri stressed the importance of  starting the work related to rehabilitating and turfing  Al_Shuhada' Stadium in Al-Halima Taiz immediately , and the Al-Ahly Club's stadium, under direct directives from the Chairperson of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, and the Prime Minister, Dr. Moein Abdel-Malik, who give the youth and athletes in all the governorates of the Republic the most attention.

 And he explained, "The Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the political leadership in our country, attaches great importance to the youth and sports side in Taiz, as it is an important youth and sports center, and what it also represents in terms of sports heritage and great weight at the level of the Republic of Yemen."

 Al-Bakri thanked "the efforts of the local authority in Taiz and its relentless and permanent endeavor to promote youth and sports work in the governorate in accordance with the aspirations of the athletes there, in addition to being at the forefront of the governorates that have supplied the allocations of the Youth Welfare Fund, without trouble."

 For his part, the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, praised "the great efforts made by His Excellency Minister Nayef Al-Bakri, and his keenness to develop and advance sports by supporting infrastructure projects, supporting sports clubs, and the participation of national teams and public federations (externally), despite the conditions that the country has been going through since  8 years.

 Shamsan expressed his happiness with what he sees every time he visits the Ministry of Youth and Sports, considering it to be at the forefront of government ministries that have been able to preserve the unity and cohesion of the nation's youth .

 At the end of the meeting, Al-Bakri and Shamsan approved the holding of a ceremony honoring the champions of Al-Ahly Club Academy for winning the title of the International Academies Championship organized by the Egyptian Club recently, and also honoring the girls of the governorate who won the first three places in the mental arithmetic competition, (level four), for the year 2023 among  15 Arab, Asian and African countries, as well as Belgium and France, participated in the competition, which was hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt.
