The Internal Southern National Dialogue Team met, on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, under the leadership of the Southern National Coalition, represented by the Chairperson of the Coalition, Sheikh Ahmed Saleh Al-Eisi, where they discussed the importance of the significance of national responsibility and the language of the dialogue and taking advantage of the experiences of the past through the findings of the congregation contributing to a southern consensus in particular on strategic issues and objectives
At the outset of the meeting, the deputy head of the Internal Southern National Dialogue Team, Abd al-Salam Qassem Massaad, conveyed the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi to the attendees, noting his keenness to create a southern political climate that guarantees a culture of dialogue and the right to differ in opinion, stressing that all issues and opinions that are raised are of interest and appreciation to the southern political leadership.
Massaad stressed the need for everyone to roll up their sleeves in order to consolidate the values of southern tolerance and reconciliation, and that these efforts pour into a joint formulation of the Southern National Charter, as an inclusive political document for the future political partnership, to which southerners would arbitrate in their differences, if any.
In turn, Sheikh Al-Eisi praised the Southern National Dialogue as an excellent initiative that was adopted and sponsored by the Southern Transitional Council, stressing that uniting the southern ranks and sitting with all southern political and social parties and components gives momentum and strength to the cause of the South.
Sheikh Al-Eisi also pointed out the importance of managing the current sensitive stage and the upcoming comprehensive political process, and the people of the south are united and more coordinated, adding that coordination between the Southern National Dialogue Team and the Southern National Coalition will witness steady coordination and cooperation in the next stage at several levels.
