The internal Southern National Dialogue Team headed by Dr. Salih Mohsen Al-Hajj, head of the team, met on Monday, in the capital, Aden, under the leadership of the Southern Independent Anti-Corruption Commission.
During the meeting, understandings were reached and reconciliation between the leadership of the Commission in order to unify its efforts as one of the results of the work of the Southern National Dialogue Team, and in a way that serves the southern national cause and the desired goal.
During the meeting, the Southern National Dialogue team emphasized that anti-corruption efforts require collective action, and it is necessary to unite and unify efforts to enhance effectiveness and achieve good results that lead to stability, as corruption is closely intertwined with conflicts and unrest, threatens development and undermines the foundations of the desired southern state institutions and the rule of law.
In turn, the leadership of the Commission appreciated the keenness of the Southern National Dialogue team to gather the ranks of the Commission, and give space of its time to reconcile them, appreciating the role played by the Southern National Dialogue team in converging views, which reflects the Southern Transitional Council's conviction of the principle of dialogue and overcoming the negatives.
