President Al-Zubaidi receives the ambassadors of Australia and New Zealand

 President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received at his residence in the Saudi capital today, Thursday, His Excellency Mark Donovan, Ambassador of Australia, His Excellency Barani Riley, Ambassador of New Zealand, and his deputy, Alicia Kotsbas.
 At the outset of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the ambassadors of the countries of Australia and New Zealand, praising the renewed bilateral relations between our country and the two countries, and the humanitarian support they provide to our people in light of the humanitarian crisis they are experiencing as a result of the Houthi war.
President Al-Zubaidi expressed his aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation with the Australian and New Zealand sides to support the deteriorating economy of our country by increasing training and qualification opportunities for local cadres in the agricultural and fish resources sectors.
The meeting discussed developments in the political, military, and humanitarian situation in our country, and the efforts made by the envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the American envoy, and the ten countries sponsoring peace in Yemen. In this context, President Al-Zubaidi affirmed the keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council to make any efforts successful that lead to a just and sustainable peace according to the data on the ground.
The meeting also touched on the progress made by the Southern Armed Forces in the war, that is leading to combat terrorist organizations in the southeastern governorates through Operation Arrows of the East and Arrows of the South.
 For their part, the ambassadors of Australia and New Zealand affirmed the support of their governments for the Presidential Leadership Council, and their support for its efforts to achieve a just peace, end the war, and revive the deteriorating economy, praising the great victories achieved by the southern forces in their war on terrorism and the exceptional tasks they carry out to protect international shipping lines in the Gulf of Aden, the Red Sea, and Bab al-Mandab.
