On Wednesday, the Supreme Economic Committee held its periodic meeting for the month of December in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Mohammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.

 At the beginning of the meeting, the Higher Economic Committee extended its sincere congratulations to the political leadership represented by President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on the occasion of the new year, wishing that it would be a year of victory for the southern cause and a year of stability and economic prosperity.

 During the meeting, the committee discussed the issues included in its agenda, reports on the level of achievement of the 2022 plan, and the directions of the work plan of the sub-committees for the year 2023, appreciating the efforts made by its members in carrying out the tasks assigned to it by the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council.

 The committee called for the next year to be a year of giving, and for translating this giving into practical plans that envisage providing the required visions and remedies, to improve people's standard of living and achieve the aspirations of the Southern Transitional Council in this regard.
