On Sunday, the team of the Youth and Students Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, headed by Professor Al-Kuraihi Kanaan, Vice Chairman of the Department, held a meeting in the city of Mukalla with the coordination committee of the Transitional Council at Hadhramout University, in the presence of Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidium of the Council, head of the Southern National Media Authority  .

 In the meeting, Al-Kathiri stressed the need to pay attention to young people, and educate them through appropriate activities for them, pointing to the great role that young people play in preserving the homeland and protecting it from stalkers, and the extent of their importance in building the bright future that everyone aspires to, praising the visit of the Youth and Student Department in the General Secretariat of the Governorate  Hadhramout and the keenness it shows to care about young people, their present and their future.

 Al-Kathiri emphasized the importance of the President Leader Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi Award for Scientific Research, which would enhance and renaissance the society development through the scientific creations of the participating youth.

 The department discussed with the leadership of the Coordination Committee headed by Dr. Hassan Saleh Al-Ghulam Al-Amoudi, Vice Chairman of the Transitional Executive in Hadhramout for University Coordinators Affairs, Head of the Coordination Committee, the most important work undertaken by the Transitional Coordination committee at Hadhramout University and the activities it carries out within the framework of its work plan and the stations that the Coordination Committee has gone through since its establishment and the achievements that have made Hadhramout University,

  The meeting also discussed means of joint cooperation and unification of efforts to activate student activity at Hadhramout University between the Department of Youth and Students in the General Secretariat and the coordination Committee of Hadhramout University.

 In the meeting, Al-Kuraihi Kanaan stressed the importance of caring for university youth and working to link them to activities that enhance their skills and capabilities and open horizons for them to help them face the challenges they encounter, urging the Coordination Committee to make all possible efforts in this context, stressing that the Department of Youth and Students will not hesitate to provide  All possible support for the coordination Committee, in coordination and supervision of the youth administration in the governorate, to achieve the best for the southern university youth in Hadhramout.

 The meeting also stopped before the President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi Award for Scientific Research, whose competition was launched last week in the capital, Aden, and reviewed the ongoing preparations for its inauguration at Hadhramout University in the coming days.

 For his part, Dr. Al-Amoudi expressed his happiness at visiting the Department of Youth and Students in the General Secretariat of Hadhramout Governorate and closely examining the conditions of Hadrami youth in general, stressing his appreciation for the keenness shown by the department to university youth and the interest in activities related to them and everything that benefits them and is in their interest.

 It is worth noting that this meeting comes within the plan of the Youth and Students Department program in the General Secretariat to inspect the youth and student departments in the executives of the Transitional Council and closely examine their conditions and needs in the various governorates of the south.
