The meeting salutes the Administrative Committee and the heads of the sub-committees to prepare for the first conference of southern journalists and media professionals, which was held on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr.  Abdullah Al-Haw, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, the great success witnessed by the holding of the consultative meeting of the journalists and media professionals of the capital, Aden, as a living embodiment of the civilized role of the city of Aden and its media leadership.

The meeting stood before the ongoing preparations for holding the first conference, and approved January 17, 2023 as the date for the first conference of southern journalists and media professionals in the capital, Aden.

 The meeting called on journalists and media professionals to make this event a southern media event that embodies the spirit of cohesion and solidarity between southern journalists and media professionals and their aspirations towards mobilizing the role of southern press and media institutions, promoting press freedoms and upholding the status and honor of the profession for a free southern media that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the people of the south.

The meeting reviewed a vision of a media plan that would accompany the preparations until the day of the conference, which was enriched with notes and discussions by the attendees. The meeting also reviewed a number of topics on its agenda and took the necessary actions in this regard.
