The ministerial bloc of the Southern Transitional Council issued a statement regarding the statement issued by the Council of the European Union and the government statement supporting it, stating:

 The ministerial bloc of the Southern Transitional Council followed with great interest what was stated in the statement issued by the Council of the European Union on Monday, December 14, 2022, and the government statement supporting it without consensus or deliberation, and while the government bloc expresses its respect and appreciation to the Council of the European Union, it expresses its regret for what came in it of  negative indications about the rumored discrepancies within the Presidential Leadership Council and a negative allusion to the role of the representative of the people of the south, the Southern Transitional Council.

 And we reaffirm here that the ministerial bloc of the Southern Transitional Council and its supporters among the southern ministers have been keen, since the first day of forming the government, to maintain harmony and to work in a spirit of one team to ensure the provision of security, stability and the flow of services despite all difficulties and obstacles.

  We see that the issuance of the statement in this manner in this regard was not as we had hoped and we regret that there are parties that exploited their relations and the trust that was granted to them in order to provide false information and do not serve the partnership that was founded on its foundations, the parity government according to the Riyadh agreement, nor the consensus that was concluded by the Riyadh consultations under the auspices of the Gulf cooperation Council, which clearly affirmed the legitimacy and justice of the southern cause and the right of the people of the south to restore their state with full sovereignty within the borders known before May 22,1990.
