The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council condemned the assassination attempt against Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Hadhramout Governorate, which resulted in his injury as a result of that cowardly terrorist attempt.

This came during the periodic meeting of the General Secretariat, which was held on Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.

 In its meeting, the General Secretariat expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist operation that targeted the transitional executive head of Hadhramout, indicating its categorical rejection of acts of extremism and terrorism targeting the people of the south with the aim of discouraging them from their struggle and their pursuit of their goals by restoring their right and their fully sovereign state.

The meeting reviewed the most prominent developments in the southern arena, and two reports of the performance of the Departments of Thought and Guidance and Social Affairs for the third semester of the year 2022 .

It also discussed the weekly activity report of the General Secretariat's departments, the economic scene report, and the important topics and points it contained in this context, and it was followed by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
