On Monday, the administrative body of the National Assembly held its periodic meeting, chaired by Mr. Lotfi Shatara, member of the Presidium, Vice Chairman of the Assembly, and in the presence of Attorney Niran Souqi, member of the Presidium, Vice Chairman of the Assembly.
At the meeting, the administrative body addressed a number of issues, the most important of which was the alliance within the framework of the parity government and the Presidential Leadership Council. It also highlighted the issue of corruption in state institutions, especially the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the administrative body discussed the role of the transitional media in the current and upcoming phase.
During the meeting, the administrative body announced its solidarity with the youth of rage in Hadhramout Valley, who are calling for the removal of the forces of the military district and the suffering of the people of the valley in light of their presence of terrorist acts, murders and interruptions, and their replacement with the people of the district, declaring its solidarity with the youth of rage and the masses of Hadhramout Valley.
The administrative body also called on all the people of the south to stand by the people of Hadhramout Valley, and the crimes and inhumane acts they are exposed to.
During its meeting, the Administrative body stressed the need to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, especially the transfer of the first military district from Hadhramout Valley to the frontlines.
And it stood before the deterioration of the living and service conditions and the suffering of the people of the south in light of the corruption that eats away at all state institutions, which in turn reflected negatively on the lives of citizens in the south.
It also condemned, in its meeting, the forms of corruption that have recently appeared in the field of higher education, and praised the efforts made in exposing that corruption and encourages the continuation of exposing all kinds of corruption in the rest of the fields and institutions, and also calls for taking deterrent measures to hold the corrupt accountable and complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement regarding to the restructuring of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting and activating the role of the Economic Council formed in the decision to transfer power which resulted from the Riyadh consultations.
The body also stood before the Transitional Council coalition within the framework of the parity government and the Leadership Council, which are the official bodies responsible for the corruption and deterioration of living and service conditions.
The administrative body called for re-improving the process of the Alliance of Necessity within the framework of the government and the Presidential Leadership Council so that it proceeds in accordance with the Riyadh agreement and consultations and enhances the empowerment of the people of the south to effectively manage their resources, manage their land, and upgrade state institutions and their work in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the southern governorates.
