On Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidium of the Transitional Council, Deputy Secretary-General.

 The meeting praised the success of the main event that was organized in Abyan governorate and the rest of the activities that were organized in all the southern governorates on the occasion of the National Independence Day.

 The meeting also praised the efforts of the preparatory committee for the event of honoring the southern women activists of October and November revolutions, foremost the women and children,  and the media departments, for their great role in making the ceremony a success.

 The meeting discussed the report submitted by the political department on the political scene, which dealt with the most prominent topics and issues on the southern scene during the past two weeks.

As well, it reviewed the report submitted by the public department on the activities that were implemented and the organizational tasks related to them during the third quarter of the year 2022.

It stood before the job discipline report related to the staff of the General Secretariat for the month of November 2022, submitted by the Administrative and Financial Department.

It also touched on a number of issues related to the lives of citizens in the southern governorates, where the attendees presented a number of proposals, solutions and recommendations in this regard.

 

 The meeting had also reviewed the weekly achievement report of the departments of the General Secretariat, as well as its previous minutes and approved it.
