Members of the Supreme Executive Board of the Southern Independent Anti-Corruption Commission, on Sunday, December 4, 2022, stood in the meeting which chaired by the Acting in charge of the Head of th Commission, Dr. Ihab Abdel-Qader, on the statement issued by Dr. Zaid’s group, and they are three members out of the total number of members of the Supreme Executive Board of the Commission, which are 15 members from the elected and founding members of the Commission  .

 And the meeting issued a statement: “Dr. Zaid’s meeting was not called for and members of the High Executive Committee of the Commission did not attend this meeting so any decisions issued by him are considered illegal, illegitimate, and categorically rejected, including:

 First: the decision to freeze membership of :

 1- Mohammad Sheikh Banafa

 Head of the services sector.

 2- Abdul Al-Rahman Al-Saadi

 Head of the land sector 

Because of the allegation that they have serious violations and due to the lack of evidence of these violations, and these violations were not dealt with in advance in a meeting of the members of the executive body, and these violations were not reported to the legal sector, and the legal sector did not issue any decision regarding the occurrence of these violations.

 Second: It is not permissible to add new members to the Executive Board except after the meeting of the members of the Supreme Executive Board and their approval by all members. Therefore, the members of the Executive Board, with the approval of all, have taken the following:

 1_ Freeze the membership and activity of:

 - Dr. Zaid Qassem.

 - Eng. Abdul Al-Rahman Ali Yahya.

 - Mohsen Ali Nasser.

 According to what was stipulated in the documents of the Commission and its rules of procedure .

 This is because they accused the two field activists in the work of the Commission, namely Mohammad Banafa and Abd al-Rahman al-Saadi, and defamed their reputation, the honor of their profession, and their integrity.

 2_ There are numerous and serious violations committed by Dr. Zaid during his presidency as acting in charge head of the commission’s work for the last period, and it is proven against him and he will be referred for investigation.

 3_ The executive body of the Commission warns government agencies, independent institutions and non-governmental organizations not to deal with the three dismissed persons mentioned previously, as they no longer have a legal capacity to deal with them in the name of the Commission.
