The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting, on Tuesday, headed by the Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidium, Governor of the capital Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas.
The meeting, which was attended by the head and the deputy of the internal southern national dialogue team, was devoted to discussing the work of the southern national dialogue team in the past stage, and its evaluation of the progress of the meetings and the topics raised by the southern national social components and personalities related to the progress of the dialogue process and other problems to contribute to achieving results aimed at strengthening the southern ranks unity, and everyone shares responsibility for the tasks of the next stage in confronting the conspiracies that aim to split the southern ranks to undermine the cause of the people of the south and work to thwart it and unify the efforts of the various components, segments and groups of southern society to extract their right to restore their fully sovereign state.
In the same context, the Presidium listened to a number of problems that faced the team's work to inform the Council's senior leadership about them, and possible ways to solve them.
The Presidium praised the distinguished efforts made by the chairman and members of the dialogue team in all the dialogues that included all the governorates of the south and some of its districts, in which the team was keen, according to the directives of the President of the council, to continue its meetings with components, organizations and social figures at the level of the south.
The Presidium affirmed the seriousness of unifying the council's direction to work with the various southern national forces to translate the results of the dialogue into reality, calling on the various national forces to work seriously with the team to strengthen the southern cohesion, strengthen the social fabric, and prepare for the upcoming benefits.
At the end of its meeting, the Commission touched on a number of issues related to the work of the Council's bodies and took the necessary measures in this regard.
