Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met a number of southern leaders and cadres in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
In the meetings, which included Eng. Muhammad Ali Al-Shaddadi, Deputy Chairman of Parliament for Parliamentary Affairs and Foreign Relations, Brigadier General Ali Nasser Al-Dheeb Baazeb “Abu Mishaal Al-Kazemi”, Security Director in Abyan Governorate, Ali Muhammad Al-Darb and the journalist Muhammad Al-Sharafi, and Abdul Majeed Saeed Wahdin, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the first Southern Conference of the peaceful movement "Cairo Conference," and Dr. Saif Ali Hassan, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the First Southern Conference of Peaceful Movement "Cairo Conference", discussed developments in the political and military situation, economic, service and living conditions in the southern governorates, the difficult suffering of the people of the south as a result of the deterioration of the value of the currency, the continuation of suffocating crises, and ways to find solutions and remedies For the economic and humanitarian files that are of great importance.
The developments of the political events in the region in general were also reviewed, and the importance of strengthening the unity of the southern ranks to face the entitlements of the current and upcoming phase was also emphasized, and the dialogue was completed in a way that provides a common ground that brings together the various components of southern society.
The meetings stressed the need to take appropriate steps to overcome mistakes and improve performance, because of its importance in raising the level of efficiency in responding to challenges.
Major General Bin Brik stressed the keenness of the leadership of the Transitional Council, represented by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, on the importance of unity and concerted efforts to strengthen the southern cohesion at this stage that the south is going through today, which requires great political and diplomatic movement, in order to reach the goal that we all seek for, which is restoring the fully sovereign of the southern state.
