On Tuesday, the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting headed by Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Secretary-General of the Council's Presidium, Governor of the capital, Aden.
In its meeting, the authority confirmed its full support for the efforts made by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zauri, regarding the implementation of the Presidential Leadership Council Resolution No. 10 for the year 2022, which stipulated the transfer of the headquarters of the Social Fund for Development to the capital, Aden, as of July 21, 2022, stressing the necessity of taking the necessary measures to implement it, and address international donors to supply aid and financial grants for the Fund to the Central Bank of Aden.

It  also stood before the attempts to revive the negotiation path to extend the truce, reiterating the position of the former Transitional Council on the necessity of dealing with the Houthi militia in accordance with the decision of the National Defense Council as a terrorist group, and to follow the procedures to implement the decision.
In the same context, the Presidium stressed that any movements of the UN envoy should be directed to pressure the Houthi militia, which refused to implement its commitments recognized in the previous truce, and force the militia to implement their commitments, and not direct pressure on the other party implementing its previous commitments with the aim of enabling the Houthi militia to obtain additional concessions without return.
The Presidium had discussed a number of other topics on its agenda and had taken the necessary measures in this regard.
