Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the First Conference of Southern Journalists and Media Professionals, called on to complete the final preparations for organizing a consultative meeting for journalists and media professionals in the capital, Aden, in the coming period.
 While the meeting of the Administrative Committee and the heads of the subcommittees in the Preparatory Committee, on Monday, in the capital, Aden, Al-Haw stressed the importance of concerted efforts to make this consultative meeting a success, which will be the culmination of the successes achieved in the consultative meetings in the southern governorates through holding the first conference for southern journalists and media professionals.
 The meeting discussed the work accomplished in the past period, as well as the work plan of the Preparatory Committee for the coming period.
The meeting reviewed the final forms of conference delegate cards and invitations, badges, brochures, and the stages of preparing the printing of a documentary brochure on the activities of the Preparatory Committee and the outcomes of the consultative meetings and the echoes that were addressed by the media, journalists and writers.
 
The attendees stressed the importance of mobilizing the energies of southern journalists and media professionals to make the preparations for the first conference a success, to be a wedding for southern media, and to usher in a new era in which everyone participates without exclusion or marginalization.
