Al-Khubaji and Al-Bakry review issues related to sports and youth aspect

On Monday, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council and head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, visited the office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the capital, Aden, during which he met the Minister of Youth and Sports Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri, and the meeting reviewed a number of issues related to the sports and youth aspect.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Bakri reviewed the most important works carried out by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the successes it has achieved since its establishment in the capital, Aden, and the rehabilitation of destroyed stadiums and halls, as well as the building and construction of a number of sports stadiums in most of the liberated governorates.
Al-Bakri explained, "The ministry, since the moment of its first establishment in the capital, Aden, has shouldered many tasks and duties, and was able, despite the lack of capabilities and resources, to make a great qualitative leap, in terms of supporting sports competitions held by public federations, supporting their external participation, and building sports facilities, which For the first time, reached some areas that have been deprived of them over the past years, indicating that the ministry's work is focused only on sports alone, away from partisanship and regionalism, as a message of peace and love that includes everyone.
For his part, Al-Khubaji praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the leadership of His Excellency Minister Al-Bakri, and the successes were achieved on more than one level, and its interest in supporting various sports activities and the biulding and construction of stadiums and gymnasiums, and its keenness to support external participation, stressing that the Transitional Council stands with everything that would develop sports, develop the skills and capabilities of youth in sports clubs, and would qualify leaders of sports work .
Subsequently, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Naef Al-Bakri, handed over the final permit to the Habil Jaber Sports Club, after completing all the conditions for the list of sports federations and clubs, wishing the club’s management, youth and fans success, announcing the ministry’s sponsorship of the construction of the club’s stadium in 3 stages, directing the projects sector in The Ministry to sit with the local authority in the district, and discuss what can be done.
After that, Al-Khubaji and Al-Bakri visited the Olympic Stadium in the Sports City in Sheikh Othman and were briefed on the sustained damage during the Houthi militia war in Aden, in 2015.
A visit was also made to the Training and Rehabilitation Center, which was established by the Ministry in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund, and they witnessed part of the activities of the Asian Course (C) for football coaches currently held in the Centre, and they emphasized the importance of training and rehabilitation, and their support for such quality courses that are of benefit and interest for sports clubs and their youth.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Mounir Al-Wajeeh, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Azzam Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Sports Sector Khaled Al-Khulaifi, a number of leaders of the ministry, the Director General of Habeel Jabr district, Badi' Al-Qutaibi, and members of the management of the Habeel Jabr Club.
