Lutfi Shatara, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired, on Thursday, an extraordinary meeting of the Decision-Making Support Center, in the capital, Aden.

The meeting was held in the presence of Ahmed Omar Hussein, Acting in charge of the Head of the Political Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, and Ahmed Al-Rubaizi, a member of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, the meeting stood before the truce, its extension project, and the challenges of the negotiating process.

At the meeting, Shatara conveyed to the attendees the greetings of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, praising the important role played by the Decision-Making Support Center headed by Dr. Khaled Bamedhaf, head of the Center.

The meeting stressed the importance of a real and equitable political project that would put the south and the rest of the parties to the crisis on the level of just maturity.

The meeting confirmed the impossibility of progressing a new step in the draft final solution to the conflict unless the reality of the understandings was fully and completely empowered in the Presidential Leadership Council.

The meeting urged the international community to find stations in the path of developing solutions to the political process that would prepare and organize the negotiating process and put its parties in their rightful place.
