This evening, the southern armed forces thwarted attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia in  Karsh front - Hamala , during which the militia suffered heavy losses.

 

 A statement on the official website of the Southern Armed Forces (Dera  Al-Janoob) stated that : "During the day, the terrorist Houthi militia attempted to carry out attacks on a number of military sectors north of Lahj governorate, including Al-Gharib sector in Karsh front-Hamala."

 

 The statement stressed that the forces of the Fifth Brigade,  were able to valiantly thwart the attack, and inflict heavy losses on the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in lives and equipment.

 

 The forces of the Fifth Brigade considered as the support and backing of the martyrdom of a soldier and the wounding of two others from our southern armed forces, which will continue to protect the homeland and defend its lands.
