The Presidency of the Transitional Council stresses the speedy cancellation of all facilities resulting from the Stockholm Agreement and the UN Truce

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today, Tuesday, October 25, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting in charge of the President of the Council, Chairman of the National Assembly.
In its meeting, the Presidency stood before the Houthi attacks on the ports of Al-Dhaba and Al-Nashima in Hadhramout and Shabwa, stressing that these attacks mean the unilateral termination of all agreements signed with the Houthi militia, which necessitates the cancellation of all facilities provided to it under the Stockholm Agreements and the UN truce, which the militia refused to renew it with a comprehensive military escalation on all fronts and the attacks on the ports of Al-Dhaba and Al-Nashima .
The Presidency warned that the continuation of the implementation of either of the two agreements will push the Houthi militia to go further, which requires dealing with it with all firmness, emphasizing in the context its demand for the Presidential Leadership Council to quickly transfer the forces of the First Military District in Hadhramout Valley to the fronts to carry out their responsibilities in the face of the Houthi threats.
The Presidency stressed the speedy completion of the procedures resulting from the announcement of the National Defense Council, classifying the Houthi militia as a terrorist group, activating regional and international mobilization processes to push for adoption at the international level, stopping all forms of facilities, and communicating with them.
In its meeting, it discussed the file of government revenue collection and evasion of supply to the Central Bank, stressing its full support for imposing the state’s authority on the sea port in Ras Al-Ara and subjecting it to the state and its institutions, as well as subjecting the resources of the land ports in Hadhramout and Al-Mahra, and making the necessary arrangements to ensure their supply to the state treasury.
At the end of the meeting, The Presidency of the Transitional Council addressed other issues on its agenda, and took appropriate measures in this regard.
