The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today, Tuesday, October 18, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, the Acting in charge of the President of the Council, Chairman of the National Assembly.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Presidency saluted the millions mobilization of the people of Hadhramout governorate, renewing in the context its demand for the Arab coalition to transfer the military forces from the first military district, as it is an imperative to ensure the stability of the security situation in the valley and the desert, given the popular rejection of these forces, which the people of the governorate expressed in That millions crowd , which was hosted by the city of Seiyun on the anniversary of the start of the glorious the 14th October revolution against the British occupier.
In its meeting, the Presidency condemned the Houthi military escalation on Yafa', Ad Dali', Al-Sabiha, and Karsh fronts, stressing the need to expedite the arrangements for transferring the military forces located in Hadhramout valley and desert to the fronts to confront the Houthi escalation, warning in the context that any attempt to obstruct this measure is considered a blow of the Riyadh Agreement and its efforts to complete its implementation.
After that, the Presidency discussed the report submitted by the Decision-Making Support Center, which included a review of the situation and developments in the southern arena, in addition to another report submitted by the internal Southern National Dialogue team, on the results of its leadership meetings with various forces, components and community organizations.
It also expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the dialogue team, which touched on the various components and groups of the political and social groups in the south, stressing its support for all efforts that establish a solid rapprochement to achieve the unity of the southern ranks, and called on everyone to cooperate with the dialogue teams at home and abroad to contribute to achieving this mission.
At the end of the meeting, the Presidency of the Transitional Council stood before a number of issues on its agenda and topics related to the work of the Council, and took appropriate measures in this regard.
